united for peace and justice is a decent organization. kinda bureaucratic, but good backers, and they throw a fun party.
there hasn't been a major anti-war mobilization since the election, and it'd be worth trying again. good time too, given the saber-rattling going on towards others nations like iran and venezuela, and given the current push to privatize Iraq's oil without democratic approval.
